hi everyone
I have two nos weatherstrips (the ones that go against the outside windows on the doors) and am wondering if there are any tricks in removing the old and putting in the new ...
Having never done these before, any advice is greatly appreciated!
cheers franklin

I just used screw driver....I paint steel bits with etchings ....because if you brought them off rare spares...they will rust.

Do the steel clips on the genuine GM door belts/weatherstrips rust too?

Of course. Thats why you have to replace them. Anything made of metal will rust.

Hi all,you can spray rust converter on them before fitting them , this will slow any rusting that might happen or paint them in gloss?but eventually they will give out ,thats the nature of it all.
