Thanks for the imput looks like the idea of my employer sponsering the emgine rewire is a no go. So its a trip to Repco for me.

BCB, get hold of a coupe of Australian Standards on cable manufacturing. I dont have access to them here but if you are interested Ill get the numbers for you next week. Im an Electrical Engineer and licenced Electrial Contractor so I deal with this stuff

hey thanks for that hk1837.
will be good reading.
i have all my wiring done for rear lights, trailer, elect seats, elec windows, etc all with power lead wire,
it appears to be better quality than the rolls of auto wire, at a tenth the price,
none of i
more than basketcase than a bear!
