Thought Id let people know. how easy it is to get caught by scamers faking as eBay members!

I got an email the other day, claiming my PayPal account had been accessed by a second party. And My account was put on Lock down.

Spooked, I was keen to changed my password.
Now the very next day I received an email from (a Claimed) eBay member asking me if an Item I was selling, was still available for sale..... It was still listed. And to get back to him. So i went through the process of replying via the Button provided in the email (via personal email address).

I was asked to enter my password. Odd I thought.. When I got to the reply page. It caught my attention that the page looked odd?
I couldn't put my finger on it. Looking at the page it looked like the Page or eBay was using a new Font for the text.... Almost like a generic version.

Suss. I closed the page! went back and looked at the email. And noticed the Address was not like others I had on file? Going into my eBay messages page, confirmed that the Member had not contacted me!!!!!!!!

I did a search on the member, And nothing came up!

The email was sent to eBays Fraud (spoof) department. And it was confirmed that the email was indeed FAKE.

So guys if you Sell (and Buy) Don't hesitate to check out a member if some thing looks out of place! Vigilance is key.
