Where did the head decoding site move to ?

one head shows
D1AE-A1C
2K12

the other head shows
4E6
D4AE

Cleveland 1971 2v open chamber heads ? does that sound right ?

The 2k12 = 12/11/1972
The 4E6 = 6/5/1974
D1AE-A1C =
D = decade = 70'S
1 = 1971
A = ford
E = engine department
the rest are revision codes.
Heads are on the motor yes? there's no 2 or 4 on the edge of the heads?

thanks castellan. heads are off, definately 2v heads. will look for the indentations in the morning.... so, in all possibility these heads are not originals off the engine being 2 years apart in build date ? it has double valve springs in it and yella ter

My open chamber 351 heads are 4D27 D4AE
One of my 302 closed chamber are 10F7 and 27G7 6090AC
and other 302 is ARDIAE 6090AC.
Just curious when i pulled the exaghst manifolds off them they ranged from 76/75/74, so not sure what year they are........

DOCKTOR The (4E6) if it's a Aussie motor it will be 4/5/76.
(D4AE) so it must be a Aussie.

The USA code's read like year/month/day

The Aussie code day/month/year

The D1AE-A1C
The D1 does not have to mean the head was actually made in 1971 but
