I have a HZ GTS steering wheel and as usual it is broken on the outside ring.
Is there anyone that can tell where i can get it repaired? (Preferably Newcastle area) and what sort of $$ is involved.
Thanks

Nobody can repair this in any decent way.
The problem is the metal ring that is broken is welded to the spokes and then all the metal structure is placed into an injection moulding die. Then plastic is injected into the die and is moulded over the metal ring.
To fix the broken ring you have to cut the plastic away so you can reweld the break. Great now the ring is good but the plastic is wrecked. Only way to fix this is cut all the plastic away and remould new plastic. The original die is broken beyond repair, RSP has been down this road with Bridgestone the makers of the originals.
This would be why Classic Oz Wrecks wheel had leather bound over the top, to hide the mess underneath.
Buy another 2nd hand wheel off Ebay or a new RSP repro.
