Hi All, Car film and TV agency Vantage has one a production client filming Packed to the Rafters, they are in need of a Panelvan to feature in an up coming episode. We have a number of great panelvans in our catalogue but unfortunately they are TOO NICE'. They are looking for an old, roughish shaggin' wagon. The character is a 'young surfy bum' so they need the car to match. They would love it to be 'loud' too, so maybe a V8 or modified 6. Shooting will be in Sydney next week (around 20th May) for a couple of hours. Fee would be around $250. If you have a van that may be suited or know someone that does please email pics of the outside and in the back along with your contact number to [email protected] Regards, Shan Railton Vantage Management Head Office - 02 9913 9596 National - 1300 858 348 [email protected]www.vantagemanagement.com.au Cars - Locations - SportsPeople - RealPeople for TV and Film

Hainzy, pity your Carribean Turqoise HZ is so far from Sydney. Would be perfect!

I reckon my faded red HZ would fit the bill nicely too but a week is a bit short notice to pull out the quiet black 308 and put in a noisy 350. Not to mention it would probably cost more than $250 to ship it to Sydney and back.

saw the episode tonight with a gold panel van driven by surfy. Anyone from here?
Bit sad they had to dub in the V8 and tyre screech audio.

Ever noticed that they never show Carbos Charger moving? It must be in the contract that the car is to be used for static shots only.

Great looking EH panelvan. Brings back fond memories. I had one in the 70s, triple SUs etc, but certainly didnt look as nice as that. Had lotsa fun in it tho
