Can anyone tell me what purpose the paper lable on the front edge of the crankcase of 202s was for? I suspect it was to record the result of engine hot run testing or to identify the engine through the final stages of assembly before a engine number was assigned, could even have had the vin of the intended vehicle assembly. Very few of these survive today as they were similar to shipping lables made from stiff paper, but smaller, these were attatched by a thin piece of wire doubled. Any help on this would be appreciated, mike81973
