I have used the reprosrus chrome rings, they go on easy and fit well, provided you still have most of the groove left. So if they can be done in chrome why cant they be done in the correct colour?

Hello hkute68, The factory method was a mylar film heat stamped into the knob face. The finish is somewhere between silver and chrome. Hope this is of use.

Thankyou shifty350, I bought my first HK Prem in 1975, that car was in the family from new and the knob rings were always silverish, so apart from the repros r us ones I have never seen them in solid chrome. Unless you get them from [email protected]Edited by user Monday, 25 May 2009 7:44:05 AM(UTC)
