Were headrests ever an option on HK,T,G Holdens. I have seen HK,T,G seats with HQ type headrests. I have been told that I should have headrests in my HT and if they were a factory option I could live with that.

Although not an optional headrest, Broughams had a higher back on the bucket & bench buckets, only in HT & HG from memory. Had a set in an EH wagon in early 80. Great seats. Cumfy.

Headrests came out some time during the HQ run, early ones did not have them, but the later ones did.

Pete.

Hi Guys.
Yes, head restraints were compulsory for all cars under ADR22 (1st January 1972 from memory).

Early HQs had them available as an option or a dealer-fitted accessory.
