Any help on what are the main differences between Series 1 and series 2 HK GTS Monaros ?

There is really no series 1 and 2.

Ben and Warren referred to type 1 and type 2 in 327 engines used in GTS327.

About the only major thing I can think of that changed on the GTS about the same time as the 327 engine change was Ermine White and Inca Gold being offered as a mainstream colour option plus 14Z trim. There may be some other minor changes on the later cars but I cant think of any. In fact there would be more changes between early (pre August 68) and late Monaros like BODY plate move, LHD battery tray notch, early pillar pressings, lever type brake booster etc. Most of these were across the entire HK range though.
