Can anyone confirm if the "L" shaped bracket for the throttle linkage on the firewall is the same for the 6s and 8's? I'd like to keep the linkage setup when I convert from the 202 to the 350,and wonder just how much I need to change.
Why are race officals so afraid of penalising 888 racing? |

No, the throttle linkages are all different between 6 & 8. Only the pedal and the pivot under the booster are the same. The 350 L shaped bracket is different to Holden V8 also, it has a tighter angle. So you will need to change the 2 rods and L bracket. |

if you get a v8 L bracket its as simple as cutting a v out of the corner and closing it up to create a greater angle to suit the 350....thats all holden did.. going to church makes you no more a christian than standing in a garage makes you a car... www.classicozwreck.com.au |
