One of the jobs that I do at work is to take mug shots of our undergrad students so that the lecturer can identify them a little easier.
I get them to hold up a piece of paper with their name on it and rename the digital photo to studentname.jpg thus making a particular photo easy to find if needed.
One thing that I noticed a while ago was that if the student wrote their name in green texta then it was quite hard to read on the digital photograph.
So why did Victoria and Queensland move away from rego plates with green letters on a white background? you be the judge but I would guess that the explosion of roadside digital cameras might have a lot to do with it.
If at first you don't succeed then skydiving is not for you. |

The black and white plates were not reflective NSW used to have non reflective yellow and black plates. I guess it's hard to make black reflective.
