Hey yas, I accidently formatted and didnt save my favorites, Can anyone push me in the right direction to find the page that shows build numbers for each month and year for the coupes ?

Anywhere I can find it mate. It wasnt on this site that I saw it... I am havin a discussion with a mate about the pre cobra cobras again, and he said only 13 JG65TE cars were built in dec 77 and that all were pre cobra cars. i am leaning more towards 50 o

I've been told there was a big order of 351 coupes for the police just before the cobras. Also heard there was another smaller order after the cobras but have never seen a coupe plated as such. Maybe only rumours, but still interesting to ponder over a b

mine is plated 12/77 and got paperwork off ford to say it was a police pack, rubber floor mats and all that junk. If only the cops could see it now... hahahaha

There were 60 coupes biult dec/77 including the 13 specials delivered to 3999 (ford race shop).I have some info on the special biuld coupes if you have any specific questions. Thanks Ron

Sweet Ron, Mine is a 12/77 plated JG65TE obviously. Can I assume the 13 you are talking about were "homologation packs" which had the wider wheel track like the cobras?

I have found another car with D trim code & it appeares to be a beige colour very simular to cream. It is in the sold section on australianmusclecarsales.com.au Cheers Ron

The TE car is the police pack , not the TM one.
te was factory snow white, and it had ,"david jones" checked seats in it when i got it, so i assumed the trim B was that...... so the mrs car is a plat blue with a interior we havent confirmed , but ma

I cant comfirm D code for trim as it is not on my chart. Is the david jones trim black/white cloth face on black vynil with black door trims ? In xb a 2 following the code indicates cloth (B2/black-cloth) but this is not the case with xc for eg my coupe i

D = Doeskin All XC Falcon coupes got the Houndstooth trim, in your case, it is simply Doeskin Houndstooth Have a look on this page (post #2 under XC)and you will the rest of the trim codes http://www.fordforums.co...howthread.php?t=11225420
