I have a VS commodore (96) it has central locking.. I took my key in to get a replacement and the buttons on the new one would not work.. the key guy even downloaded the info again and still no go..
also to start the car, we have to first lock all the doors with the central locking buttons, and then unlock it and then the car will start.. the car WILL NOT start if i just unlock the car with the key, it will only start if i use the buttons for the central locking. it's like the remote turns off the engine immobiliser enabling me to start the car.. but the key wont turn off the immobiliser, this being why the car wont start.
please if anyone can shed some light onto what the problem might be it will be greatly appreciated.
