I just undone the screws in the door jam and pull the chrome moulds off, then the mould clips ,now the windscreen is held in by "goop", with wires inside the "goop".Usually you hook up a battery to both ends of the wire(+ and -)this heats up the goop so you an a friend can push the screen out with your feet(gentley).But i went around an around with a blade and then a guitar string inside and outside to "cut"the goop and remove the windscreen.As far as replacement Im useing mine again,but getting some one else to put it in..jim

Hi, It will save you money if you can re-use the windscreen. If possible, it is best to do exactly as the factory manual says. This way nothing gets damaged in the process and you only need to replace what is supposed to be replaced. There is nothing more frustrating than finding a part is damaged when it is time to put everything back together again. These parts that can get damaged are getting harder and harder to come across these days.

Is your windscreen a toughened glass variety? If it is a laminated type it will most likely break when you try to remove it as they do not like flexing.
