Hi all,

Due to somehow having amassed a total of 9 cars I need to downsize a bit. I'm going to strip a few of my parts cars and get rid of the shells.
One of those is an XB Coupe. It is a 302 Fairmont. Originally Apollo Blue in colour.
The shell is rusty but I have someone interested in it. I just don't know how much to ask for it.

I went on a shopping spree this week (bought 2 VN SS Commodores) and I'd like to rescue the bank balance so I don't want to give it away.

I have the original matching numbers 302. At this stage I'll be selling just the bare (rolling) shell. What would something like this be worth?

Also, what do you think it would be worth if I left the 302, C4 auto and the hanging panels on it. Dash would be stripped, glass would be gone. The 12 slots will be removed too.

I realise it is hard to put a price on it without seeing it close up but I'm hoping you'll be able to throw some opinions at me.

I'll be selling a HQ sedan shell too. "Apparently" is is a genuine GTS/4 but as the ID tags are long gone I guess it doesn't really matter. I'll ask about that one over in the Holden forum though.

Running LPG was it? The more parts you leave on the car the more it's worth. As to how much it's worth I just couldn't say. Prices are so up and down at the moment. Does it come with any interior? Especially the front and rear seats? The matching nu

I would think it would be a lot more saleable with the matching engine.

I think it was running LPG at some stage but had no tank (fuel or gas) when I bought it.

It will be sold with no interior at all. No dash either. I'm thinking I will leave the drive line in it as I am planning to run late model stuff in my other coupe

OK guys, I have stripped it and have thrown it on ebay.
It will be very interesting to see what it is worth.
I doubt it will sell for much. Less than $1000 will be my guess.

Well wasn't I surprised. It went for $3250. There was 180 people watching the auction and quite a few serious bidders. The two guys fighting it out at the end had both been around and viewed the car so they know exactly what they are getting.

It was a very nice combo that car and matching number block was a bonus. It will look awesome if someone actually does it up to original specs. $3250 is still a bargain in my opinion.

I've actually got another one in the shed that was an identical combo and only 4 numbers from that one on the production line. They were reunited after 30 years only to be separated 4 or 5 years later. lol
This one is an almost flawless shell. It was ta
