Im taking the 202 and Trimatic out of the HQ on the weekend. What are the best lifting points to get them out together?
Also, any sneaky tips for me when doing it?
Cheers, Al

chain it diagonally front to back....ive always found that removing the front apron and rad support is a good idea especially if your lifting equipment doesnt go high enough...mind you i use a forklift... going to church makes you no more a christian than standing in a garage makes you a car... www.classicozwreck.com.au |

Classic, I have removed everything just about, all the hanging panels, radiator and support panel etc. Basically just the 2 rails and motor left.
Are there any particular points to chain it to?

I usually use a strap around the whole engine so that you can angle it as you go,But some will say not to because they can slip.Ive not done this on V8/TRANS because they are really heavy but yours is a 6.You could even take the head/accs of to make it lighter again,But this is just how I do it.Would be no trouble with the front off as you say.cheers
