i got under my car today to hopefully remedy the problem i have been having with filling up my tank. i was told it may be a blocked breather hose, so i followed the breather hose under the right hand side of the car then up into the engine bay where it runs through some dome-shaped thing and into the base of the carby. is this right? and if it is, then what would be causing the fuel tank to spit petrol out all over me when it is barely half full?

this happened to me in a vz turned out the hose has a fault inside where it didnt form properly causing a slight block, so my guess is its that, maybe look at taking the hose ends off and sticking the air gun down it.
