I have a 253 V8 which I've now decided not to use in my ute (easier to keep the 202 for now) so I want to get rid of it.

It's been sitting for a few years so will obviously need a refresh (I assume). The bloke I bought it off used it in his AMCA National speedway car and it was rebuilt in 2001 in Darwin by a race engine builder up there and then only did about 16 laps apparently before he sold the car but kept the engine.

Engine is 60thou over, balanced, 75thou off the heads (obviously manifold is matched) waggot 210 cam, ACL race internals, chev valves, hi volume JP oil pump and good quality water pump (can't remember brand). Also has engine mounts that go with it.

There's no carb/dizzy/alternator/exhaust manifolds etc - it's not much to look at but I can get a photo if someone's interested. I can also deliver in the Perth metro area for whatever hoist hire costs (about $35 from memory)
