How far can you bore out a 302? Max limit??

Yes, 302's are boring! If it is a blue block, I think 30thou is about the max. I think 40 pushes it too close to the water jackets?
Black blocks (Pillow blocks) I am not sure about, They were found in the XD and XE era Falcon/Fairlane/LTD cars.

yep, .030 will do em safely. why not just stroke it ?

I've got a off-road buggy with a 302 in it.

A friend wants one for his XB and thinking about swapping for a 350 chev.

So I was just wondering what the limit on how far out they can be bored.
