We are prod to announce that we will be able to provide the much needed HX-HZ Sandman Stripe Kits, all screen printed as per originals!

They have been reproduced to exact factory sizes.

- Orange, Brown, Dark Brown
- Orange, Bright Blue, Blue
- Yellow, Orange, Red
- Bright Yellow, Light Orange, Orange
- White, Blue, Dark Blue
- Light Blue, Mid Blue, Dark Blue

There is many hours of art to get them correct and are due to be finished end of August 09. 1 month away.

When complete and on the market they will be sold for $420 a complete set. As a SPECIAL pre-order price we are offering them for $399 a set. + $10 post. If ordered, colours selected and $100 deposit paid before 25th of August 09.

We are able to do them in non-factory colours of your choice if wanted. Email to discuss.

As you may well be aware. Screen printed sets will last for many years longer than the digital printed versions. The colour depths and finishes is 100% compared to the digital printing even with now days printers and inks. Digital kits are on the market. At a price of around $300. As the saying goes, "You pay for what you get".

The rear tailgate "SANDMAN" sticker will also be available separately. As will the side pillar decals.

We already produce the HQ/HJ Sandman kits. Price for a complete HQ/HJ kit is $275.

Hi Vintage.

Correct they are cheaper than eBay. ($150 cheaper in fact). When the time comes are we do put them on eBay the price may have to be greater than $420 due to the eBay/paypal fees. We will be trying not to but can not guarantee it.

Point taken. its not a huge saving. I will throw in a tyre placard to suit ($20 worth) to anyone from fastlane or oldholden. I know its not much. But hopefully it helps.

Due to the work and time needed on these kits, we do not have much room to move on the cost. If we want to keep the prices always low. I could knock a few kits out at 350. But at the end of the day it would put the price up for everyone else once they are released to make up for it.

If we have heaps of interest and an order of say 10 kits from fastlane members than we definitely can re look at the pricing.

Cheers
Jason

Put me down for a O-BB-B set. What brand vinyl are you using? What ink are you using?

No Prob Absinth.

The originals where made from a 3m vinyl. So we are going to use a 3m vinyl to keep it as close to original as possible. The material is Serilux its not just ordinary vinyl as it has to withstand the harsh penetration of the vinyl inks.

The inks are being used are solvent based vinyl inks.

Any other Qs let me know.

Absinth. I dont have your email address. If you like drop me one to j_ackland(at)aapt(dot)net(dot)au just so its easier if i need to contact you again.

Cheers

Good to hear they are being done properly as I know the set up cost isnt cheap. I assume you are using Australian specialty inks and just out of curiosity are you hand printing or machine printing them? Are you doing them yourself or do you have a company doing them for you? Are you final coating them with pro-pack clear?

I have a hand printer but most of what I do is fine detail printing using Monokan ink and 140T mono filament mesh. Very glad you decided to go ahead with it though. Ill shoot an email off to you soon.

Sorry Absinth. I thought i replied to this but obviously not...

Australian Speciality inks are being used yes.

They are being hand printed.

The originals are a gloss finish, so they will be exactly the same as them.

I have a mate doing them. He is a screen printer by trade. With many years of experience. We take pride in supplying spot on decals. They will be finished perfect and exact like all our other decals. =)

Cheers
Jason
