Can you take the timing cover off without taking to sump off?

yes you can also buy 2 piece timing covers.

remove the first 6 sump bolts and pry it out dont get to angry on it though.

1/ With a standard timing cover, yes you can, but you tend to shred the timng cover - sump seal, and can wreck the seal at the end of the sump gasket.
2/ Putting it back on, no not really. One trick is to trim the ends of the sump "lip" to allow it to fit on more easily. You will still need to at least loosen off sump bolts.
3/ As per bundybluedog, if you have the cover off then it is worth getting a 2-piece timing cover, where the sump lip is attached to a plate which the main cover then bolts through. Means that in the future you dont need to break the sump seal.

Thanks. Didnt think it was an easy job. Im better off dropping whole sump off and changing sump gasket. Got one of then felpro 1 piece gasket but leaking out from timing cover. Anyone eles tryed 1 piece sump gasket and had leaks?

You can remove the Timing cover without removing the sump, you just need to loosen the sump enough for access,10mm drop should do it. when doing it up the sump bolts will be the last you tighten of course.
