Hi guys,
Long time no post. (Been an avid reader though).

I had a student ask me (because I supposedly know cars -LOL) which model e series to go for out of an EF and an EL for his first car. Thought I would throw it out to the wind and see what came back so that I could give him some advice.

What do you reckon?

By the way, my XB is soon to get it's head job completed (MMMMM 2V) and a fresh set of clothes.

Cheers
PM

I think we can save it...I'm taking it back

Was thanked: 2 time(s) in 2 post(s)
I had an EB brand new in 1993. I replaced it with a new EF in 1995. Now I drive an EB enough said?

I would go with the EL over the EF any day. THe EF had so many changes over the ED that it was almost a new car in an old body and had lots of new

Thanks for the advice fellas. I have done a bit of reading and found that the el also has supposedly better steering/suspension. I will let him know.
Personally I would like to tell him to hunt up an xa-xc as they are soo much cooler and easier to fix
