Hi ive got an old set of su carbs on a lynx manifold to suit fj-ej holden there is a linkage that joins to all three butterflys on each carby i believe this is the accelerator.there is also a linkage at the bottom of the centre carb is this for the choke as only the centre card has it attached. The outer 2 carbs have provisions for this but also but the ears that hold it are broken off are these needed?

Sound like the centre carb has the choke linkage attached. The concept is to lift the needle (lever)to enable easier starting. via a cable. Rembering that Su use vac to lift the damper.so need some sort of richer mixture to start. pump the throttle wont help in this type of carb. We only use one choke to start our 1.75"s. there should be another linkage to connect buterfly shaft to lever or cable depending on throttle mechanisium...!

So do you want to sell..?
