I am thinking of putting a t5 out of a v8 commodore into my ht, it has a chev v8 and powerglide with factory t/bar ,floor hump and console , i can take care of the clutch and cross member etc but was wondering if any one that has done this conversion could let me know if i will need to do any major work on the floor tunnel and where abouts the shifter comes through the floor ???
also what would my power glide be worth as a conversion its genuine ht/chev good box can be test driven and would come as a complete conversion ( g/box,flexplate,cover,lines,x member,t/shaft,complete t/bar but no console??) ,,,regards dave
