Hi Holden people, Im helping out with a 308 engine swap in a WB. It had a 202 originally and was fitted with a Supra gearbox.
We picked up a new flywheel, clutch bell housing from Mal Woods and have fitted them. There was a new clutch cable hook supplied for the pedal as apparently the 6 pedal is different to the 8. I have installed the new hook as per instructions and the clutch fork has around 1cm free travel before the throw out bearing engages.
The problem I have is that the clutch doesn't disengage properly. When I try to adjust the cable, the throwout bearing rubs against the pressure plate and the pedal sits up much higher that in should.
It's driving me slowly insane. Any ideas from somebody who has done this before. The only thing I can think is wrong is the pedal hook I fitted.
Failing that does anyone have a v8 pedal box for sale :)

You probably need a late HZ or WB V8 pedal. Changing the hook probably wont give you the travel you need. V8 pedal pivots in the hole below the one itll be in now. An early HZ or HX pedal may work too, all of these are the same (not a different pedal for 6cyl and V8).
