Hi can anyone tell me if a set of blue or black motor extractors will fit a red motor head 9 port if you modify mounting holes? thanks .

First, are we talking E.F.I extractors only?
If so, youll find they they will foul on most single carbie manifolds and maybe some triple application manifolds depending on the length of the runners.
The E.F.I extractor primary pipes depart the head higher than carby extractors which point down after exiting the head.

They go close port wise, but from memory the red outer port are slightly closer to the centre. Best check is a blue/black gasket up against a red head.
Then youll also most likely have problems as described by Casper.

Different enough not to be worth doing. Use the correct extractor configuration for the job at hand.
P.S. If the extractors that you are considering are factory from an EFI VK Commodore, they will not fit into an EH body. I mention this as I noticed the 064 in your forum log in. WB commercial extractors will fit.
