I need to know what bucket seats will go straight into my HX, will early commodore seats (VB or VC or similar)fit or are the mounts different? also are 1Tonner seat mounts the same as the front seat mounts in a sedan? I basically need to know whatI can and what I can't put in it without engineers certificates, all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Russell,
Any HQ to HZ bench or bucket seats will bolt straight into your tonner. Even if you have a bench in there now, the inner bolt-holes are already in the car, but you will have to clean out the mastick type stuff that the factory puts in them

the bucket seats from any hj hx hz sed wagon statesman van ute 1 tonner will fit and all so wb bench will go straight in any other seat will nead floor or runner modifications hope this is helps you

WB Kingswood ute buckets should fit straight in. I think you can put these runners onto Commodore or WB Statesman seats and then they will bolt in. Check before you do it. I'lll be doing the same thing shortly.

I have VL Commodore seats in my HZ Van. it looks like the front bracks bolted up to the right holes but the rear of the seat seems to have drilled thru the runner it self to line up with the factoy holes.The seat still sits even and straight.

LH-LX Torana buckets will fit too. I had some Torana SS seat in my tonner. Same runners and seat design, except passenger seats from a coupe can fold forward to allow acces behind the seat. Very handy in a tonner. Ant
