So after 15 years without a 308, Im now the proud owner of a fuel injected (VP Commodore) 5 speed manual (Toyota Supra) HG Premier (GMH Holden!!).

I've had a thing for these cars for years and the stars have finally aligned for me to do the deed.

So now all I have to do is get it registered.

The registration list looks like this:-
1. Get an exhaust fitted with oxygen sensor (So I can start it without the walls caving in)
2. Get the motor running properly and tuned (hope all the sensors and things are all in place!!)
3. Get the seatbelts back in (Not sure why they came out in the first place)
4. Get the steering sorted (only 6 inches play each way...)
5. Get the indicators working (the lever just flops about)
6. Check through the electricals and tidy up (Seem rough but basically in order)
7. Make sure everything works (Now that's an open statement)
8. Change all fluids, bleed everything, check seals for leaks, fix anything that's binding etc (It's been sitting still for 7 years)
9. Get it engineered. (Now there's some cost!!!)
10. Fix anything he comes up with.
11. Get the blue slip, have it transferred into my name and registered in NSW for the first time. (After being unregistered in Qld for the past 7 years)

Sounds pretty simple :) and all that should only take 3 months to 3 years - pretty tight budget.

Then I can start on the wish list!!!!

Any advice? particularly on a good contact for fuel injection and auto electrics - I'll have to do as much as I can myself and some people who are willing to offer advice will be really helpful.

Cheers

Jeremy

PS - huge thanks to Phil Pascoe who I bought it off, who has moved heven and earth to make sure it's gone to a loving home. Cheers Phil
The G will roll again.... eventually
