got a small problem with the 308 i bought from you m8.....

last week i sold the whole thing for 1300 to a m8 of mine. so he gives it to he mechanic during the course of last week to put in his vh commie wich is fine but then the mechanic finds a **** load of things that are wrong ! crank in the crank heads are shagged cam is good for a walking stick ....

i thought u sold me a good donk ?

I know what this is like mate, I purchased a used 350 chev that was in a HG stationwagon it sounded great went like the clappers but when it was dismantled all it was good for was a boat anchor.Yes its very hard to know what the engine will be like, did y

yes very true in what u said but i was asured when i bought the engine that i was in good condition having been ****ed over by taz's boss the first time!! taz kindly offered me the engine as he had it in the garage any way dont get me wrong bruce is a top

Hi Scott. Sorry for late reply.....pooter problems atm. Engine was running fine when I laid it up. This can be verified by others on this list who assisted me with the ignition relay problem I was having at the time. As you know I hadn't pulled the motor

Yeah that happens, I once sold a fellow what I thought was a good running Capri V6 engine.

He wanted to rebuild it anyway so he pulled it apart. Turns out a previous owner had put the crank thrust bearings in backwards & this had totally stuffed the c
