Thanks: 1 times
Hi, I have a very worn front lower pivot on HR front end. The thread is only worn on the top section. It still has the thread on about 2/3 of the pivot. It has about 1/4 inch plus movement, which is way too much. All others are OK.

So how do you fix it.

1. Bronze over the worn section and re-file/cut thread?
2. Mig weld over worn section and re-file/cut thread?
2. Cut off and replace with a good one, if I can find one and it would be a big job?

Also, does anybody know what size and thread pitch is?

Any help or ideas or experience in repairing thie problem would be appreciated.

cheers

Steve
