hey all , just joined up to this forum so i thought i would have a post or two , recently turned 18 and got a mock up Holden sandman , that is currently getting the v8 taken out of it and getting a 6 put into it because of Victorian rules stating no 8 cylinders in Victoria for p platers , after that job i plan to upgrade the current sound system of PC speakers , just struggling with that at the moment , trying to find out what a decent system in a panel van involves , if any one would be able to help me with that it would be greatly appreciated , The panel van has all original dash and a such , ive attached some pictures for you's to have a look at
thanks

can you get exemptions to drive V8s on your Ps in victoria? i know you can here in nsw. should check that out. looks like a really nice van, have you checked for any rust? noticed the photos are taken at a beach which might indicate it may have some. i have seen a few panos with speakers mounted above the seats, eg above and behind your head when youre driving, not sure how that sounds as ive never been in one with this set up. for a sound system i think 4 splits would be plenty in the cab, as it is in every ute ive ever been in (although i have one mate who has 6 splits and 2 12" subs in his spacecab haha).

yeah you can apply for exemptions here aswell , i applied but got declined in the last week , unfortunately , nah in fact the car is rust free , where i purchased it from was inner Melbourne so it was rarely out to the beach, yeah i reckon that would be a fair good idea , i spose i have got alot of places to put them just gotta find the right one , but ill try that one out and see how it sounds , in a ute that would of been amazingly loud hahaha
