I have a HX built on the 19/1/77 and complied 2/77 & have just noticed a HZ Monaro on ebay built 21/2/77 so does anyone know the change over date of the two models & did all the factories change on the same day thanks Ron

HZ didnt officially start until October 1977 so there arent going to be too many built in February 1977. That would probably even be way too early for a brochure car! The VIN number places it as a 9/77 build, and its earlier than any 9/77 Sandmans I have recorded by about 250 PSNs. Just shows you that people who rely upon GMH letters when buying a car have rocks in their heads as I have never yet seen one that is 100% correct.
By my Sandman records changeover was August-September 1977.
