Im looking at buying an XR wagon and was after some answers to some pretty important questions.

First off its got a great body with no rust, but the guts aren't too good. Its got a duel fuel 302 windsor with a crappy auto transmission on it. Now currently the engine doesnt perform very well at all, but i was wondering how much it would cost to convert it to a manual with a toploading 4speed. Also would the engine come to life with a bit of a tune perhaps?

Also with the interior, the front buckets and back bench arent that good, so i was wondering if XF front buckets and rear bench seat would fit into an XR?

My main question is about the transmission though, because id love to get the car but i want something that GOES well with a manual.
