Were BW 0507 gearboxes ever brought out in Falcons? I have bought one from the wreckers for peanuts and am starting to wonder if it's from a Sigma or Cortina. Any leads would be welcome, as I hope it's not a four cylinder box.

i have got and had plenty of cortina's.they were never made with a 5 speed.the xe and xf had a 5 speed box(rare)but im not sure if its the box you have.quite a few sigma's had a 5 speed.

Ok here's what happened. Ford introduced a 5 speeder with the XE but it was only available with the 3.3 litre engine as it was basically a Sigma box & the 4.1 would have chewed it up & spat it out. It was also available in the early XF but the XF

if you need parts for it go to ford ,i have one in my vk ,6cyl,
parts have gone through the roof $$$$$$$
