2 x 10" electric fans would hardly be enough to cool a stock 6-cyl. A 308 would need a multi-blade fan with a viscous clutch or a set of twin electrics of a VT-VZ or AU-BF.

2 problems, the gilmer changes the pulley ratio, most ive seen end up 1:1 which will slow the water pump down.

the other, as the doc mentioned, 2 by 10" fans are not "cool", i had no joy at all with that setup, i also tried a 16" single fan allegedly good for 2800cfm and it was not an improvement, even in a decently constructed shroud.

Ive fitted el thermos to a hq radiator and it keeps my grumpy stroker at around 180f in traffic and reasonably hot days.
