hi all, i have a turbo 350 /SBC in a HT and the speedo cable is leaking trans fluid because it goes upwards and not horizontally into the extension housing as its supposed to be. I can not spin the extension housing around as than the cable wont go into the box. If anyone could help with pictures of their cross member set up if they are using the same combo it would be appricated. Thanks in advance . Scott

Im sure there is a right angle adaptor that you can purchase for these, try any of the Speed shops.

I needed to use a 90 degree drive when changing from a TH350 to a TH700 into my EH ute. Reason was simply for clearance. They are not an everyday, easy to get item. Nor cheap. 2 contacts below may help.

Im not sure what you are getting at though..... "leaking trans fluid because it goes upwards and not horizontally into the extension housing as its supposed to be. I can not spin the extension housing around as than the cable wont go into the box."..?

If your fittings & cable are in good order, leaking should not really be from that point. The 90 degree drive will still be pointing down out of the box.
I found my TH350 generally leaked fluid no matter what I did. TH700, dry as a chip.
