heya guys. i have a HJ 308 red block with trimatic box. the 308 has VN heads and extractors. my problem is that the exhaust runs about 2mm from the starter solinoid. i think its an old bosch type of starter where the solinoid is outside near the chassis. i was told to use a VN starter motor but i heard that they dont mate with a timatic box. im looking for a starter motor to suit this where the solinoid is on top of the starter motor. any help would be great.
