Does anyone know if an commodore axles will fit into a Hx disk brake diff without any axle modification? i know the stud patern is different but that is no issue

as far as i knew they are to short the ten bolt ones are longer then commodore ones i hope this helps cheers

Correct^, Commodore 10-bolt are shorter. Note there is no difference between drum and disc brake housings in HZ and WB, the difference is in the axles (I only added this because you referred to a disc brake diff). The Commodore axle that might go close is the long axle out of either a VL V8/turbo Borg Warner or a VN. These will be different lengths to each other but measure them and see if one goes close, you might get lucky. Splines, bearing and retainer should fit.
