Crazy isnt it. You hear blokes whining about not being able to find blocks or 4spds, especially Torana blokes. Theyll pay $1500 for a HT prefixed block that is not original for their car but wont have another 308 for free that in their car will be worth exactly the same.

I agree, you watch 2 weeks later someone will say,"oh"! I would have bought them off you.It is weird thats for sure, the funny thing is that some of the stuff that gets ,given, thrown and dumped is someones stuff that they will want later on...oh well.

Ill probably regret it later its usually how it goes. 3 x hq sumps and pick-ups one of the 253s had flat tops and a nice cam and was a good runner. The 202 was complete minus dizzy was still conected to the trimatic!
i could have put them on ebay but its to much of a hastle, its a bit of a shame a few more pieces of holden never to return.

thats the holden boys for ya, its either too expensive or isnt "mint" enough for my resto, or the wrong cast number...even if it is for nothing, they still whinge and whine and then as jim says, later on they will say "i would have given you that for it"

and i will say it now again, and many times prior to this and many times more, if it was ford stuff, they would be jumping at you to get it, even giving you more $$ for it than you wanted, and thats why their stuff will always sell easier and be worth way more than the stuff we like and have, sad but true

i actually found a xw or xy im not sure which one trim piece that goes on the front of the bonnet while cleaning out its really good nik too. but your right ford stuff does sell easy but there seems to be less of it. i found a HK T G monaro inner roof trim the one that goes from the front door to the rear quarter window. its steel not stainless.
6 pack for each sounds like a good price if anyone keen.

So true!!
having wrecked Ford / Holden and Toyota,
the holden boys are by far the worst to deal with as far as being reliable turning up and turing up with money.
e.g. turn up to pick and engine up with a sedan, or with a trailer but no rope!! grrr.
the ford guys never seem to haggle and are just happy to have found the part.

In fact, i will not be wrecking any more holdens because of this reason. Going into 89 +up hilux and 75 series landcruisers.

WANTED:
-2 14 x 9.25 CSA style Centrelines.
-2 x 15 x 8 Dragway centrelines
Old holdens brought on the spot, quick decision, cash paid.
