Hi All, thought I'd better do the traditional Newbie Post as an intro to the Forum. My story goes like this ............
*Bought the car in '77. Yep almost 33 years ago
*Drove it around for about 2 years.
*Bought a house, covered the car up and walked away from it.
*Started to rebuild it in '80. I won't used the word restored, will explain later.
*Put it back on the road in '94. Yep, a 14 year rebuild.
When I started the rebuild, 327's weren't worth what they are today, so I have added a bit of chrome etc. but nothing that can't be taken back to original with a bit of work. The drivetrain is all original, but has been rebuilt.
I look forward to seeking the odd bit of info from Forum Members and offering advice based my experience with 327's whenever possible.
Cheers
Bob

OK Mr 65ehpv and Mr Void, Im guilty as charged for not including photos. Thought I would add them to my original Newbie post instead of doing it on GMH 068s post.
The photo of the car on the hoist was taken a few months ago during the shooting of the TV show Classic Restos".
The others are self explanatory.
Cheers
Bob

Thanx BronsonHX. The gloss paint and chrome seemed like the right thing to do years ago. Im now wishing that I had kept it a bit more original. Might give me something to do one day.
Cheers

Bob i brought the car off a very good mate of mine , the car belonged to his grandfather & when he passed away it was passed onto him , he had it sitting in the shed ever since , it took me about 2 years to finally get my hands on it but i did , the car is unrestored , it has a few marks & scratchers here & there but its no show car but all original for its age apart from the running gear that was put in which turns heads as the 186 badges a still on it i have all the original log books which are like brand new.
