I was doing some tidying up on the Premier today and realised (der) the reat seat wasnt in. Gee how long have I had this thing ? So I find some newpaper underneath and pull it out. It wasnt newpaper. It was a Holden Production Broadcast sheet. Aha !! Some intel on the QE ! Nope - wrong. Not my car.

The 2 ripped strands of paper revealed the following: a Sydney built Purpul Belmont 3 seater with black vinyl trim, manual 6 cyl. Destination Melbourne. Some 50 or so VIN's lower than mine.

FWIW. Nice find...but how did I end up with it ?

Send a copy to Warren Turnbull - he collects them. I only collect the commodore ones!

My best guess is that someone on the line during that days shift left it out of a car & just chcked it in whatever was coming past.

In my search for commodore one
