We wreck i think you once said you had a aussie block dated 12 dec is this so. From what i know is that the first cleveland motors came in aus XW GT-HO march 1970 release. these were just the same as the GT 351. but in the jun 1970 XW GT-HO, ford aus striped down the imported GT motors and fitted a solid cam ect.
By 1972 ford aus was to make the first 302 clevo so from what i know is they cast the cyl heads crank rods hear but still imported the blocks from USA. The first blocks were machined ready to be assembled in aus. then about mid 1972 ford aus just imported rough cast blocks and machined them hear. and up to about 1976. then ford aus cast there own blocks. But all GT 4V motors were completely USA made. Any one who can add to this.

I do believe that the casting like C9AE = 1969 and DOAE = 1970 ect. But this is the casting type not the always the year. So you can get a D2AE and it was made in 1974. or a DOAE made in 1974. Then there is the revision A. or AA, AB, BA. ect this means
