I know its been asked a few times but i cant find the link so ill ask again. Whats involved in changing a 4 cylinder model of the lj lc torana into a 6? i have a very tidy complete LC sedan and would like a 2 door with out the cost of buying an origanal 2 door 6 cylinder.
What should i expect to pay for an old 4 cylinder roller with all the door mechanisms and window winder and glass?

Rear suspension mounts are different too. Youd be better off getting a 4cyl 2 door and using the quarters and doors on the sedan.

Also on the LC-LJ the 4 cyls had from memory a salisbury diff- 4 stud 12" wheels. Also differnt gearboxes. Not sure if the floor pan is the same as the sixes, so gearbox fit might be an issue.

A tarted up Fairmont is NOT a legendary muscle car.
Attn camry drivers. The accelerator is the skinny pedal on the right.
