where are all the dudes that are screaming for stuff? then, when it pops up, nobody? i would have thought someone would have jumped on all this stuff??
a few mths back, i bought a similar bulk lot of foulcan parts and it was nearly 4 times that price, this sort of stuff doesnt pop up that often anymore..but i guess it depends how keen someone really is, not a real lot of money in todays world, or maybe it is?? i dont know, i would have thought HK-T-G stuff was worth alot more..

I think the trouble is Frank the valuable HK-HG bits are GTS Monaro bits and not much of the 4 door bits are common with GTS, unlike the XW-XYs where they have a lot more in common. When you look at what is there and what it would cost to get it back to civilisation where most of the sales for the stuff would be (Melbourne or Sydney) its not worth it.

HK-HG 4 door doors are getting harder to find, as are bonnets but there is still plenty around locally. You can still buy good country cars for less than $2,000 if you go looking and from what ive found the bits you get in a collection like that arent the bits you want. The bits you want seem to get thrown away like clips, nuts, bolts etc and body sections. I find the most valuable HK bits (for me anyway) are good rust free donor rust repair sections like floors, quarter bottoms, beavers etc. These dont exist in a collection of parts. I too have a shed full of grilles, guards, doors (albeit coupe doors), stainless, window regulators etc but very few good rust repair sections as these stayed in the wrecking yard rusting while all the other bits were in the sheds.

If only he was in Vic Id put a bid on that stuff

I already have a fair collection of spare parts but never say never especially if something comes up cheap and local lol

Good boot lids are always handy aswell as doors even if it to seal up a good body that you cant store under cover
