HM engs were atarted years ago here in melb by a guy that specialised in cylinder head reconditioning and in those dayes went by the name of "HEAD MOD". as business boomed, the name was changed to from head mod, to HM and they have now got massive. they punch everthing out to .060 regardless, and just change what they have to probably ok if its just a junker, but if its ya baby, surely you can find someone that can cater to your specific needs locally.HM also is sells hard parts under the brand name of "NASONS"

I innovate, never imitate..

thanks we wreck , looks like I have to go a local small workshop for a good one . I have heard good and bad about them but i want a motor that will go the distance and not let me down . .60 is probably ok , but if they need more it could result in piston slap on cold starts when an undersized piston is used .

Boring 60 thou each time saves the reconditioner cost on set up time and measuring the bore. If the bore only needs a hone youve "wasted" some engine life.
