Come on fellas surely someone knows wot S-EA stamped on my XA vin plate under rear axle means. My local FORD guru dosnt know. please help

The S means it had a rear spring change, possibly to a higher spring loading.... Is it a ute or an outback pack ??

EA .... only guessing here but probably a ratio change.

I have seen S before but not EA im sorry..

thanks mate it was bought new by a farmer in Dalby while he was waitin for the GT he ordered, my father got it off him a couple of months after that and has been in the family ever scines. Its a Falcon 500 302 sedan, ive have built aand installed a 351(28

Still got the old diff ? , Give it a spin and check the diff ratio. I assume you left the original springs under it ? Count the leafs , that will tell ya if its not " stock " so to speak
