Looking around flemington today, i noticed the different radios, the dot 11, delux 11, and the press button, so what i would like to find out is what went with what, did the different types come out with the year or with the make, some monaros ht hg hk had the press button and the delux 11 (non press button), the stock hg th hk sedans had the press buttons and the broughams had the non press.....
so now im confused to which came with what.....cheers

No HK/T/G came with a radio, but GM-H offered an 8, 11 and 13 transistor radios as options/accessories on all models.
8 was manual only, 11 in manual, push buton and push button with crackle cutter, 13 in push button with crackle cutter. So depending on how much you wanted to spend on a radio depended on what one you got. They were slightly more expensive (about 15%) than after market so have always been a little hard to find.
I hope this removes the confusion.

great info, what in your opinion looks better in a hg gts 186s ????
I will get one soon, and dont mind the delux 11 non press.

Yes that would look good, this was one of the only options fitted to my HK GTS.
