have a 308 engine and trying to work out out of what
eng no 11364 cast no 4 L 3 clock point shoes arrow at number 6 on a clock

Recheck the engine number and see whats in front of the numbers. Its a November 1973 or 1983 cast block.

nothing infront of those numbers but was told vc commodore so1983 would be right

It may be but the number isnt a GMH engine number. A VC 308 will be VTxxxxxx where the xs are numbers. Should be 6 digits.
