Hi all

I have to retreive a friend's ZB Fairlane (stock standard, auto, 302)car that sounds like the diff has run dry. I'd like not to have to trailer it home, so hoping diff oil will do the trick. Being a mainly Holden man, I'm not familiar with the diff oil bung on the ZB. So that I take the right tools, can someone tell me what I'll need (eg, 1" spanner, hex key, square key, etc).

Cheers

Matt

You need a big open end or ring spanner. Can't remember what size it is but it's about 1 1/4" at least.

Thanks Jim. That I have, was concerned it may have been large allen or square key, which I'd have to buy.

No drama. I'm still trying to identify the diff type, took some photos, but can't work out how to attach them to a post.
